They’re not disciplined or reprimanded like other people are when they do bad things I don’t know why that is. Generally, I’d say that race wouldn’t normally be part of the problem in my situation a few years ago, but from what I’ve seen around here and other non-Hispanic personal have told me, Hispanic employees are treated differently. If I had to use a number, I’d easily say that 75% of the workforce is made of Hispanic people and most of them do wonderful job. Some of the temps have been here for years and others are seasonal. Since I’ve been working here, I notice that about half the workforce are people through temp agencies. The work is good, keeps me busy and I don’t have to deal with the customer service side of things very much which I enjoy the most about my job. The company I work for, I’ve been with for the past 7 years.
